Video/Audio Enhancement Training
Meant for law enforcement and investigators needing to learn fundamental skills for day-to-day video and audio work. Combining a background in law enforcement and digital investigations with over 10 years experience as a professor and instructor at multiple universities, I bring a proven ability to explain unfamiliar technical subject matter to criminal justice audiences. Every topic is taught with live, hands-on exercises. We will also work to ensure you can use software for any budget (from free, open-source tools to high-end inclusive packages).
Digital Evidence recovery training
Want the best chance of getting a readable license plate from the doorbell cam? Need to hear what people in the background are discussing on a cell-phone recording? One of the most overlooked aspects of modern investigations is the proper recovery of digital evidence. We are commonly asked to see or hear details that might be possible if proper methods were used to obtain the highest quality audio or video evidence. This course provides both in-class and live, hands-on exercises for optimal and lasting learning outcomes.
